There are two main variations of parsley that are used in cooking. The curly-leaf type has a milder flavour and is mainly used as a garnish to salads, soups or various meals.
The other form of parsley is the flat-leaf or Italian variety, which is much more flavoursome. For this reason it is often used in cooking, as it can withstand the cooking process whilst still retaining its flavour.
The garden variety of the Indian herb Parsley is usually bright green & hairless biennial plant. It usually grows from the seeds.
“Parsley is highly nutritious and research has proven that it is even beneficial to our health.”
Here is a brief how it helps you the juicy way 🙂
Parsley juice is a potent and concentrated version of all the nutrition in the herb, including a rich array of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, enzymes, chlorophyll and volatile oils. Parsley is also known to be especially good for kidney cleansing and liver detoxification.
Our kidneys are filtering the blood by removing salt, poison and any unwanted entering our body. With time, the salt accumulates and this needs to undergo cleaning treatments and how are we going to overcome this?
Take a bunch of parsley and wash it clean. Cut it in small pieces and put it in a pot and pour clean water and boil it for ten minutes. Cool it down and then filter it. Pour in a clean bottle and keep it inside the refrigerator to cool.
Drink one glass daily and you will notice all salt and other accumulated poison coming out of your kidney by urination, also you will be able to notice the difference which you never felt before.
We all know how stressful our work environments can be. Don’t we all know, how hard we work? We really in today’s times need to follow an absolute healthy routine which can be so easily even practiced at work.
Below is the routine that I recommend each and everyone of you to preach and practice and follow it every step of the way at work.
As a warm up, let’s do some Tai Chi..
Follow like this to ease your
neck & shoulder pain
Move to the right
and then to the left
After that, move to the left
and then to the right
Just follow. Don’t force yourself to do 360 degrees, 180 degreeswill do. Bend down a bit like you gonna faint. Repeat a few times till you’re bored
Grab anything on your desk and smash your head hard. If you are still sleepy smash harder
After that move your feet and swing your body a bit like this. Do it like it’s nobody’s business and remember to smile.
Move your feet and body just a bit like this….
Do it like there’s no problem at all…
And now more aggressive!
Don’t bother about what others say
Let go of all your stress…
If your boss ask what you are doing, move your head slowly like this and tell them you’re dying in the office.
When your boss walked off, get your colleague to join you and move your body like this. The more the merrier …
Finally, dance like this.
Still Sleepy ??
GO HOME !!
Pssssst: Hopefully you are still employed!
The word ‘Aloe’ has its roots in the Arabic word ‘alloeh’, which means ‘Radiance’.Egyptians called aloe the “Plant of Immortality,” and depicted aloe in wall paintings. The Egyptian queens Nefertiti and Cleopatra used Aloe Vera as part of their regular beauty regimes.Alexander the Great used Aloe Vera to treat his wounded soldiers.
From most recent history, Mahatma Gandhi drank the inner gel from Aloe Vera, which helped him maintain a high energy level despite his often poor diet. When Mahatma Gandhi was asked what secrets he had that sustained him during his long fasts, he answered in his letter he wrote to his biographer:
“You ask me what were the secret forces which sustained me during my long fasts. Well, it was my unshakable faith in God, my simple and frugal lifestyle, and the Aloe whose benefits I discovered upon my arrival in South Africa at the end of the 19th century.”
Aloe vera is a stemless Succulent plant (water storing plant) which grows in dry conditions is widely used in herbal medicine/Ayurveda. Aloevera is obtained in the form of gel, juice and powdered forms. As it is non-toxic, it does not cause any adverse reactions when taken along with other drugs.
If you spend a fun filled afternoon at the beach on a lovely July day and bake for too long, you might end up with a nasty sunburn. If you forget to reapply sunscreen after you come out of the water, then you are even more likely to suffer the ouch factor.
Aloe Vera gel comes from the leaves of the plant and is very effective at soothing injured skin. The gel acts as an antibacterial agent because it contains aloectin B. It is this ingredient that stimulates the workings of the immune system.
If your skin gets sunburned, take a shower right away and then apply a generous amount of Aloe Vera gel to the affected areas. The Aloe Vera gel will act as a moisturizer and will seep into the layers of skin to begin to facilitate healing and skin repair.
Aloevera has been used since ancient times to treat various skin disorders. Take a leaf of aloe vera plant and remove the outer green covering.Collect the resulting white jelly-like flesh of aloe vera in a clean bowl. Mash the gel well and apply it on the affected parts of the skin. Keep on for few minutes. You can wash away the gel using cold water.
Aloe Vera has anti-microbial and pain-killing effects. They are also used in the treatment of acidity. It is a therapeutic healing agent which acts externally and internally. It acts externally as an astringent, anti-fungal and healing agent on the skin wounds. It also acts as an emollient (substances used for softening skin).
When it is used internally, it lowers the cholesterol levels and is used to correct digestive disorders like acidity by killing Helicobacter pylori (bacteria which cause acidity).
A natural hair conditioner: Aloe can be used in place of chemical based conditioners. If you are suffering from excessive hair loss, reducing the amount of chemicals you put in your hair is an important first step.
Helps in detoxification: Aloe juice is said to have natural detoxifying properties that cleanse the digestive and circulatory system. This promotes blood circulation and a higher rate of absorption of nutrients from food.
Has anti-ageing properties: Aloe gel is known for its anti-wrinkle properties. Aloe penetrates the many layers of the skin, hydrates, nourishes and regenerates the cells, which has the potential to delay appearance of wrinkles,
Erases blemishes and scars: Many swear by aloe vera’s ability to erase blemishes and scars. If you have a plant, squeeze the leaf and apply the gel and leave it overnight. This is said to help.
An edible tuber grown across Asia, West Africa, and the Caribbean.
Ginger compounds are very effective in treating diarrhea, especially the Escherichia coli enterotoxin-induced diarrhea that’s such a common killer in the Third World. Ginger can also be used to treat nausea brought on by seasickness, morning sickness, or chemotherapy.
Ginger is recognized as safe by the FDA. That said, it can still cause heartburn and nausea if taken in excessive quantities. Remember : A little goes a long way.
You can buy ginger by the root, or as a powdered extract. Biting into the root does a great job of clearing up a stuffy nose, at the minor cost of making your face burn like the fires of Hades. Ginger root can be bought at pretty much any grocery store.
Look for fresh ginger with smooth skins and a fresh, spicy fragrance. Wrinkles and cracks indicate the ginger is dry and past its prime.
Fresh, unpeeled gingerroot can be stored tightly plastic-wrapped in the refrigerator for two to three weeks. It can also be conveniently frozen for up to six months. When ready to use, simply slice off what you need and return the rest to the freezer.
• When peeling ginger, be careful to remove only a thin layer of skin. Use a vegetable peeler or sharp knife, or simply run a spoon along the ginger to scrape it away.
• Freezing ginger makes it easier to slice, grate and crush.
Here are some tips:
Hydration is tremendously important for overall health. Soda has absolutely ZERO nutritional content; it’s like pouring a punch of sugar and syrup into your cup. Instead, fill it with life-replenishing water. It may taste plain at first if you’re coming off of a heavy soda-drinking streak, but you’ll soon find yourself addicted to it. 10 glasses per day is optimal, how many have you been getting lately? \_/ \_/ \_/
