Friends, I’m not enough intelligent or wise to advice you guys. But, it’s totally in our hand that we want to live the life or feel each and every moment of it. Go wherever you want to go, wear anything you want to, eat everything you love to, watch everything, play your favourite sport whether you know the rules or not. Happiness (:

Sw@i

Once a group of 500 people were attending a seminar. Suddenly the speaker stopped and decided to do a group activity. He started giving each person a balloon. Each person was then asked to write their name on it using a marker pen. Then all the balloons were collected and put in another room.
The people were then let into that room and asked to find the balloon which had their name written on it within 5 minutes. Everyone was frantically searching for their name, colliding with each other, pushing around others and there was utter chaos.

At the end of 5 minutes no one could find their own balloon.
Then, the speaker asked each person to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the person whose name was written on it. Within minutes everyone had their own balloon.

The speaker then began, “This is happening in our lives. Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around, not knowing where it is.

Our happiness lies in the happiness of other people. Give them their happiness; you will get your own happiness. And this is the purpose of human life…the pursuit of happiness.”

Respect

Dancer Adrianne Haslet-Davis, left, performs on stage with dancer Christian Lightner at the 2014 TED Conference, in Vancouver, British Columbia.

She was a dancer who lost her left leg in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing. She took to the stage with a new prosthetic limb to perform for the first time since losing part of her left leg. After 200 days of work, for the first time she danced a rumba on her new leg, to raucous applause from the crowd.

See her above, with dance partner Christian.

With her husband Adam Davis, an Air Force captain, they were both injured in the Marathon bombings.

‘Festival of Colors’

Colors ruled the streets as people of all ages with faces and clothes smeared in myriad of hues celebrated #Holi , a harvest festival which marks the onset of spring season in India.

The ‘Festival of Colors’ saw revelers pour onto streets across the country, smearing and splashing powder, known as ‘gulal’ and water on others to celebrate the triumph of good over evil.

Water-filled balloons were hurtled down from rooftops and balconies as cries of ‘Holi hai’ reverberated the streets.

From youngsters and the elderly to the widows of Vrindavan, the ‘gulal’ spared none as revellers danced to the accompaniment of drums.

A relatively warm day paved way for a perfect Holi, as colored water drenched people inside and outside homes, bidding adieu to winter.

All Smiles

CHILDREN IN THE HIMALAYAS PHOTO BY VOLKER ABELS

Ah the innocence of a child, a smile or two of joy, simplicity but so much fun….One day, maybe life will become simple and not so complicated and expensive so all the children of the world can enjoy, not just the corporations exploiting the minds of our children!

#‎PrayForMH370

Indian sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik with his artwork on a beach in Puri, in the eastern Indian state of Odisha.

The BBC has posted this picture in its news on the missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 without giving the artist a credit.

India has some very fine sand artists. Sudarshan Patnaik has also set up the Golden Institute of Sand Art.

I’m afraid: the latest news is that some wreckage has been spotted .Two days ago, a Malaysian passenger jet with more than 200 people on board vanished in the skies over Southeast Asia.

Pehle kabhi jab kisi din, Guftgoo na hoti thi,
To agle din vo kehti thi, “kitni baate jama hai batane ko..”
Ab to ek arsa beeta, k koi baat nahi ki hai humne,
Kya baat hai yar, ab baat nahi, koi tumhare paas batane ko. ?
